Port inspection is the final ditch to avoid the wrong thing happening before shipment. Port inspection can be of visual check, dimension check, final document review, custom clearance document review, lifting process monitoring to avoid the good items being damaged. Port inspection can also include the quantity verification.
Of course, during port inspection, the required test(s)can't be performed, which shall have all been duly tested and accepted in mill site prior to loading out.
